Denim Day USA 2008 was a huge success!

Over 600,000 individuals, 350 organizations, 75 businesses, 110 schools, 40 cities in LA county and representatives from over 20 states signed up to support the sexual violence prevention and education campaign, Denim Day in LA and Denim Day USA 2008.

A big thank you to everyone who helped us speak out against sexual assualt, support survivors and promote sexual violence prevention.

• Make it possible for more survivors of sexual assault to reach out and find help.
• Promote prevention through education so that sexual violence doesn’t occur in the first place.
• Encourage men and boys to understand that strength is not for hurting, and the critical role they play in preventing violence against women.
• Encourage institutional and societal change.
